Dr. Amy Taggert, North Dakota State University shares a collection o seven individual interviews in which students describe their
writing processeses and how they define themselves as writers.
Students discuss
the similarities and differences between personal and academic writing as
they’ve experienced them in their lives. These interviews contribute to the national
conversation on writing by expanding our understanding of writing and writers
through personal story.

Interviews with Middle and High School Teachers
Dr. Shannon Carter, Texas A&M-Commerce, collected these interviews from participants at the Coastal Bend Writing Project (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, June 2009). These National Writing Project participants described themselves as writers and how these experiences inform their work with writing students.

Interviews with Basic Writing Teachers
Dr. Shannon Carter, Texas A&M-Commerce, collected these interviews from participants at the 2009 Conference on Basic Writing (CCCC, March 2009). These CBW participants described themselves as writers and how these experiences inform their work with the often struggling college writers populating their basic writing courses.
